Breathing of the Soul: Love

When a love story begins, it feels like a new life is starting. Every moment, every touch, every smile gains a new meaning. Love is the most beautiful poem of life; each verse is the beginning of an adventure that lasts a lifetime. As the hearts of two people beat towards each other, the universe aligns with their rhythm. The feelings of people looking at each other with love cannot be independent of each other. A picture sent by the beloved can make the day beautiful, just as the slightest cold gesture can ruin the day. Every love carries a bit of sadness within itself. Just as we cannot live life in rosy realms, we cannot live love in fairy tales either. When we start experiencing this feeling where joy and sorrow are siblings, it lifts us to the skies with joy but takes our breath away when it ends. The joy and sorrow of love are one of the deepest emotions a person experiences and one of the strongest dilemmas in life.

The bond between two people begins with shared joy and peace. A genuine smile, and the sparkle in the eyes, are moments when hearts come closer. Love colors life makes every moment precious, and fills the person with peace. The sorrow experienced is as great as the joy in every lost love. Heartbreak, extinguishing hopes, shattering dreams… Love can sometimes turn into pain.

Loving someone is synonymous with appreciating every moment spent with them. Waking up knowing your loved one is there makes you feel alive. The reason we expect attention from our loved ones when we are in pain or feeling unhappy is this. Their presence nurtures our souls. Life is more beautiful, evils are purer, and pains are temporary when they are around, but despite all our efforts, love does not always heal our wounds. The end of this feeling, which makes us feel like we have been reborn, celebrating our new life with cheerful music, is like a funeral for our soul. The pain of separation leaves deep marks on hearts and sometimes makes life difficult. In literature, which contains all the elements of life, we often come across love as concrete evidence of life. It extends from the first smiles and heartbeats to the smallest tears shed. Perhaps love is the very essence of literature.

With its pain and sweetness, every love story can said to be a new life and a new identity. It’s a process where we discover everything that makes us who we are. As long as the world exists, this miraculous feeling will never end, and it will have a different definition for every person because love is a journey to eternity and at every step, it heralds a new birth.

“Love, speaks in the language of souls; it is felt, sensed, and cannot be described.” – Alfred Lord Tennyson
