If you’re interested in extreme sports and love nature, you can start mountaineering and outdoor sports with KHASDAK! Since 2006, KHASDAK has been offering winter mountaineering and rock climbing training and organizing events. You don’t need any prior experience; our experienced club members explain the necessary training theoretically and reinforce it with practical training. However, since our training program progresses annually, we can only accept new members at the beginning of the year.
After completing your training, you can join any of our events. We perform various summit climbs in the winter, like Ilgaz and Erciyes, and in the summer, we do rock climbing in climbing gardens, like Karakayalar and Geyve. If you don’t want to do winter mountaineering, you can just take rock climbing training, and if you don’t want to do rock climbing, you can just take winter mountaineering training. But if you’re interested in both, that’s great😊. However, it’s important to remember that since the sports we do are extreme and dangerous, training, discipline, and our unity are very important. Even though there will be moments when we are alone with ourselves in the mountains, mountaineering is actually a team sport. We move together and take responsibility for each other.
When you join our club, you will see incredible landscapes, form everlasting friendships, and create unforgettable memories. You will push your physical limits and aspire to be a better version of yourself. The friendships you form with those you share tents with will become much stronger. But alongside these friendships, you will have plenty of time alone. In these moments, you will merge with nature, listen to yourself, and escape the stress of the city.
