Conor McGregor and Road House

The 2024 remake of the 1989 film “Road House,” premiered on Amazon Prime on March 21st. The film quickly garnered a significant viewership due to its ensemble of globally recognized celebrities, including well-known American figures such as Jake Gyllenhaal and Post Malone. Their presence undoubtedly contributed to the film’s viewership, but the most significant impact came from Conor McGregor, undoubtedly one of the most media-centric figures in MMA history and the fighter with the highest viewership in combat sports history. Conor’s high-level fame and his performance, rivaling Hollywood stars, frequently made headlines. In the film, Conor plays the arch-enemy of Jake Gyllenhaal’s character, Dalton, a former UFC fighter. At the film’s premiere, Conor stated, “Fighting is the most beautiful form of art, and you know, it’s great to be involved in this game, which is also an art.”

Recently, the famous fighter has excited his fans by announcing his return to the cage after more than two years, at UFC 303 night, describing it as “the greatest comeback in sports history.”
