A Spanish couple on a world tour with their motorcycle was attacked by a group of men in India on the evening of March 1. They were assaulted in their tent in the Dumka region of India, where they were spending the night. After beating the man, the attackers raped the young woman. According to the woman’s statement, the couple had set up their tent in a secluded area near the Hansdiha market. The woman, who was sleeping at the time, reported to the police that she was subjected to physical violence during the attack. The female tourist was sent to the hospital for treatment, while the police announced that three individuals had been detained in connection with the assault and that they were pursuing other suspects.
